Nauta Shiprepair Yard has today cut the first steel for the Swedish Navy’s SIGINT ship, officially beginning the production phase of the vessel. The ceremony was also attended by officials from SAAB, the Swedish defense group, which awarded the ship contract to the Nauta Shiprepair Yard, a part of the Polish Armament Group in 2017.
Newbuilding Department of Nauta Shipyard does not slow down. Just a few weeks ago the launching of pelagic trawler had taken place in Gdańsk, and today (23rd of February) another fishing unit was launched from B3 slipway.
Energomontaż-Północ Gdynia (EPG) has completed another prestigious project. On 21st and 22ndof February loading of elements for the jack-up unit has been taking place at the premises of EPG. Performed structures are dedicated to offshore installation jack-up vessel. It is a unit for installation of foundations for offshore wind farms, which after the ongoing modification will gain the strongest and the largest crane in its class.
In recent days Nauta Shiprepair Yard has signed two contracts for building partly outfitted fishing trawlers. Both vessels have been ordered by the Danish client – Karstensens Skibsvaerft AS.
